Portable Gas Detectors
Portable gas detectors and monitors are used for the detection of flammable gases, oxygen depletion and an extensive range of toxic gases meeting the safety monitoring requirements of a broad range of different industries.
These units units are fully portable, usually worn on the clothing or clipped on a belt. Should the unit detect a gas level outside a preset safe limit then an alarm will sound usually accompanied by a flashing light allowing the individual to vacate the area! Personal gas detectors are commonly used for the following gases, Hydrogen Sulphide, Carbon Monoxide, Oxygen and combustibles (%LEL). The gas detectors come in a variety of styles, a single gas version, a multi gas version (where numerous gasses need monitoring), fully disposable versions and each comes preset for the detection of gasses that are of concern in your industry and location.
