At Point Safety we pride ourselves on being able to offer unbelievable prices and promotional offers on our massive range of gas detectors and monitors. As such we focus incredibly hard on absolutely minimizing our delivery costs. If value is important to you we recommend our Standard UK delivery service but your order may take longer to receive. If you need your goods quicker, please select our next day service and your order will be priority picked, dispatched and sent via our premium courier.

Goods delivered to some destinations, usually outside of the EU may be subject to additional taxes, duties, fees or other additional charges by the recipient countries jurisdiction. These additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient and not the responsibility of Point Safety Ltd. We have no control over these charges and cannot advise what they will be.. Please contact your local customs office for additional information on tariffs and charges prior to order.

Items which are in stock will be dispatched within a few days of order and delivery times (for UK only) will be around 3-5 days. Express UK (mainland) delivery is available if the item is in stock, meaning it can be delivered next working day if ordered before 2.30pm (Monday-Thursday). This time may vary depending on accessibility to product.

Although we carry an extensive stock, there may be some items which are unavailable due to quantities or otherwise. In this case we will inform you of the status of your order and whether or not it is able to be fulfilled within our standard delivery time frame.

The cut-off time for orders is 2.30pm. We do not dispatch orders on Saturday, Sunday or on bank holidays.

We aim to dispatch all orders on time, however on rare occasions an item may be out of stock or courier delays may occur. Should this happen we will contact you in advance.

Our delivery services may be affected by national and bank holidays in the UK.

 

Terms and Conditions for Item Collection and Transit

These Terms and Conditions govern the collection of items from customers to be delivered to our business for servicing. By agreeing to have your item(s) collected and delivered to us, you accept the following terms:

  1. Acceptance of Responsibility
    1.1 The customer agrees to ensure the item(s) are securely packaged and appropriately prepared for transit to minimise the risk of damage.
    1.2 The customer confirms that the item(s) are in a condition suitable for transport.
  2. Transit Liability
    2.1 While all reasonable care will be taken during the collection, handling, and transportation of item(s), the business accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or deterioration of the item(s) during transit.
    2.2 The customer acknowledges and agrees that the transportation of the item(s) is undertaken entirely at their own risk.
  3. Insurance
    3.1 Customers are advised to arrange adequate insurance for the item(s) being transported, covering the risk of damage or loss during transit.
    3.2 The business does not provide transit insurance or compensation for items damaged or lost during transportation.
  4. Inspection Upon Receipt
    4.1 The customer is responsible for noting any pre-existing damage to the item(s) prior to collection.
    4.2 Upon delivery to the business, the item(s) will be inspected, and any additional damages observed will be noted and communicated to the customer.
  5. Limitation of Liability
    5.1 The business shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the loss or damage of item(s) during transit.
    5.2 This limitation of liability does not affect the customer’s statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
  6. Force Majeure
    6.1 The business shall not be held responsible for damage or loss caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or third-party actions.
  7. Customer Acknowledgement
    7.1 By proceeding with the collection service, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
